from the 10th of March 2020
regarding travelling from and to other countries
due to the risk of coronavirus epidemy
Due to the current situation caused by coronavirus SARS-Cov-3 causing the disease called COVID-19, I decided to withhold travelling from and to the countries enumerated in the current statements of Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (gis.gov.pl) till the end of march by students, PhDs and employees of the University). Regarding travelling to other countries I ask you to consider a change of the dates of departures.
Employees, students and PhDs who recently stayed in countries and regions enumerated in the GIS statements are obliged to notify about their arrival the Regional Sanitary-Epidemiological Station in Lublin and restrict their social and working activity and stay home for 14 days. In the case of employees, this time should be used for remote working. The students are obliged to continue their learning according to the programme of studies.
Decisions about temporary absence at university and the change of character of work or learning will be taken individually:
- in the case of employees – unit managers
- in the case of PhDs – chairmen of science councils
- in the case of students - vice-deans for students affairs
According to the art. 3 [Instruction of remote working] the law of 2 March 2020 about specific solutions connected with the prevention, counteraction and combating COVID-19, other infectious diseases and crisis situations caused by them (Journal of Laws 2020, position 374), the employer can instruct an employee to do their job determined in the employment contract, outside the permanent workplace (remote working).
During this time, you need to monitor your health state and in case of appearance of symptoms, according to the instructions of Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, you need to contact on the phone sanitary-epidemiological station.,
Taking into consideration dynamic development of the situation, it is recommended to be up to date with all current statements of Chief Sanitary Inspectorate which are available on a website: gis.gov.pl/aktualnosci, Ministry of Foreign Affairs: www.gov.pl/dyplomacja and World Health Organisation: www.who.int/novel-coronavirus-2019.
