Lublin Student Culture Space
On June 17 this year, at the Academic Cultural and Media Center of UMCS, the Lublin Student Culture Space (Lublin PKS) was officially established. The signing ceremony was attended by the representatives of the Lublin universities, the City of Lublin, the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP), the Students' Parliament as well as the representatives of cultural centers.
On behalf of Lublin University of Technology, the Act was signed by the vice-rector for general affairs and development, Prof. Dariusz Czerwiński, and on behalf of the Student Government of our University - its president - Alicja Zielonka. The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Paweł Droździel, the vice-rector for student affairs.
Lublin Student Culture Space is a project in which every student of the Lublin universities will be able to participate. The project is supposed to be a place for joint action in all possible forms of cultural activity.
Within the frames of the project, annual open calls for proposals are planned. The best of them will receive funding, a dedicated guardian, and everything will be done at the Academic Cultural and Media Center of UMCS. In addition, the project will include regular meetings with interesting people and workshops with different research clubs.
